I recently read a story about a mother dog in Argentina that was in a remote area and came across an abandoned newborn baby; so she managed to get the baby back to her own litter of pups and
kept the baby warm in the 30 degree weather until the next day when someone came across the animal and the baby and took the child to the hospital. The child survived thanks to the dog (along
with her puppies) keeping the child warm all nght.
